See 'n Say-ve by the Numbers
|
|
For decades, Fisher Price marketed a learning toy called, "See 'n Say" - and they still do! In "Elmo's World See 'n Say", kids learn by identifying a number, colour, object or shape (that's the "see"), pulling a lever, and hearing/learning more (that's the "say").
Using the same concept, this month's newsletter focuses (see) on 2012 Mortgage Facts that you can leverage to your best advantage (say)! After all, knowledge is power.
61: The percentage of mortgage borrowers who experienced a reduction in their interest rate when renewing a mortgage in 2012.
60: The percentage of mortgage holders that make only their minimum mortgage payment
47: The (record) percentage of borrowers who obtained a new mortgage through a mortgage broker in 2012
39: The percentage of homeowners in Canada living mortgage-free 32: The percentage of mortgage holders that are making significant efforts to accelerate repayments, including voluntarily increasing their monthly payments; making lump sum contribution to their mortgage; increasing their payment frequency
On that happy note, from our family to yours, have a wonderful holiday and happy and prosperous New Year!
